Born in England to an Air Force father from Norfolk, Virginia and a mother from Tampa, Colleen was fortunate to travel and eat her way through Europe and the United States while growing up. Each stop along the way opened up new culinary doors that added to her family food heritage of good country cooking and flavorful Spanish food. A few years in New Orleans before returning to Florida created a zest for restaurants to go along with a love of cooking. A full time real estate attorney, Colleen has attended to her food habit as dining reviewer for the Northwest Florida Daily News for the past 14 years. She is also a frequent judge at wine competitions, is a Professional Member of the James Beard Foundation, and is writing a cookbook.
