Comedy: Lisa Lampanelli

Saturday, May 3

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli looks like your average fleshy housewife with her pastel cardigans, string of pearls and perfectly coiffed 'do. But when she opens her mouth and lets the insults fly, there's no doubt about why she holds the title of "Queen of Mean." She's the modern female version of Don Rickles — her stand-up is offensive to every race, religion and gender, but it's definitely worth witnessing live. Sat., May 3, 7 p.m., Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 N. McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater, $34.50, 727-791-7400, rutheckerdhall.com.
