Not to be confused with the Watoto Children's Choir that came to town in January, the African Children's Choir brings awareness of the 11 million African children who have been orphaned by AIDS. Spearheaded by Irish minister Ray Barnett, the choir is re-assembled each year from children who come from some of Africa's most destitute villages. Many of the 7- to 11-year-olds have lost one or both parents to poverty and disease. Proceeds help schools throughout Africa. 7 p.m., Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N.
