This weekend, a much needed cold front will chill the Tampa Bay area, says forecasters.
The high for this weekend will be 82 degrees on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service’s 7-day forecast, with Sunday reaching a high of 80.
Lows are expected to dip to 60 degrees Saturday night, which means this will be a great opportunity to re-introduce yourself to things like pants, hats and sweatshirts. Maybe even crack a window, or drink a hot beverage outside. Hell, even pull out the Uggs if you’re feeling basic.
The “fall-like” temps are a huge relief considering October had the highest average temperature for that month in Tampa Bay history, according to the National Weather Service, who stated that the average temp was 81 degrees, which was 5 degrees higher than the average.
Unfortunately, according to FOX 13’s meteorologist Dave Osterberg, the nice weather will only be temporary, as next week it’s expected to get back to being hot and humid.
