Cougars: are they still hot or just horny hot messes?

Depending on who you ask, a cougar is any female somewhere around 40 years of age or over who takes pride in her appearance and actively seeks sex. These women are known for lusting after younger men and at times are considered a predatory threat by 20 something women. But never fear 20 something's, the men being ravaged by cougars probably aren't interested in women their own age.


It seems woman always want to be an age they're not. We spend our younger years attempting to look older.  We use make-up, clothes, and modified behavior to look and feel older.  When we get out of our twenties, we spend money on plastic surgery and over priced cosmetics in attempt to prevent time from taking its toll on our faces and body.  In their 40s most women have accepted that their 20 something years are long gone; if they want to stay active on the dating scene they must prepare to be called cougars.  While I'm not quite there yet, I do admit to exercising the role of the older woman/younger man scenario, if only in my head (over and over again).


So with my surgically enhanced breasts and barrage of anti-aging creams, I will willingly and enthusiastically accept my role as a cougar and embrace the younger men who will soon be knocking at my door.

As middle-age quickly approaches and those tell-tale signs of age creep up on my looks, I've started to wonder if I still got it or if I only still got it for my age. Although many people tell me I look far younger than I am and that age is simply a number, the number still bothers me. The fact is I'm almost there—-I'm almost a cougar.
