Over the weekend we spoke with Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Kendrick Meek. He believes Governor Crist should veto that abortion bill that was only debated on very late last week before the legislative session ended;
Meek's Republican and now independent opponents for that Senate seat, Marco Rubio and Charlie Crist, made the rounds of some of the Sunday morning public affairs programs. Already, Charlie Crist's mantra about serving "the people" is beginning to sound a bit stale;
And the Tampa Bay Rays won yesterday in a pitching duel, 1-0, and now depart for a long west coast road trip. But the the team with the best record in baseball after the first month of the season is languishing when it comes to home attendance – and the disconnect is becoming more jarring by the day.
