TASTE OF THE NATION Share in the 11th anniversary of the largest nationwide culinary benefit supporting anti-hunger efforts. Proceeds benefit All Faith's Food Bank and Children First. American Express is the national sponsor, and Marine Max Delivering the Boating Dream draws kudos as the local (i.e., Sarasota) sponsor. $50 in advance; $60 at the door. 6-10 p.m. Thurs., April 29. CHOCOLATE CRAZIES Join premier pastry chef Michael Baugh for classes. Make fabulous dessert creations you take home at the end of each class, and nibble on wine and hors d'oeuvres while you learn. $40 per person. Baking 101: 5-8 p.m. each Tues.
