VEGETARIAN COOKING CLASSES Debby DeGraaff teaches free weekly classes in vegetarian cooking. CULINARY EVENT AND BOOK SIGNING Haslam's hosts this event with Joyce LaFray, author of Cuba Cocina: The Tantalizing World of Cuban Cooking and Big Guide to Florida Restaurants. DELICIOUS HEART HEALTHY BREAKFAST Lee and Marvin Silverstein present this free class on how to make a heart-healthy breakfast and lunch with raw grains and fruits, skim or almond milk and hummus served on romaine lettuce. TAMPA BAY VEGETARIANS JULY DINNER The Edo Japanese Restaurant hosts this month's Tampa Bay Vegetarian Dinner. Attendees sit at teppanyaki tables where the chef prepares mostly vegan-friendly dishes, such as vegetable sushi, miso soup, ginger salad, vegetable fried rice, sesame seed noodles and teppanyaki vegetables. Also featured is guest speaker and registered nurse Lee Silverstein, who speaks on the topic "Eat to Live." $13 general/$11 members.
