Cyber Monday at the CL Holiday Auction

$2.5 billion — that's the amount that people are expected to spend today online. If you're planning to join the party, get more for your dollar  by shopping in CL's Online Holiday Auction; not only will you find gift ideas not available anywhere else, the proceeds from winning bids support the programs of The Children's Home.

Sure, you can still order that Walking Pup Pet for your daughter from Target. But take a moment to shop the auction and you may wind up helping hundreds of kids have better lives.

And by the way, if there are kids on your shopping list, this week's auction includes a bunch of great children's gifts: a day at a fantasy fishing camp; family tickets to the Holiday Classics movie series (including It's a Wonderful Life, above) at Tampa Theatre; a big black denim beanbag chair, perfect for pre-teen lounging; and tickets to the Lightning plus a Zamboni ride, which may be every young (and old?) hockey fan's dream.

Find these and more at eBay; Week Three bidding ends Sunday Dec. 7 at 9 a.m. Look for new items in the final week of the auction, which begins Thursday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. and concludes Dec. 14.
