Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered flags at half staff Friday for “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida” to honor the late, infamous wrestler and lifelong Tampa Bay resident.

Flags will fly at half staff at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, and are ordered to do so at all state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout Pinellas County.

Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died at 71-years-old in Clearwater on July 24. The Pinellas County medical examiner released reports Thursday stating his cause of death was a heart attack.
