There have been several twists and turns in the past week regarding the status of former Tampa City Council members John Dingfelder and Linda Saul-Sena, who are aspiring for a bigger portfolio for their political brands by running for Hillsborough County Commission.  Read the latest here.

There's a bit of an imbroglio in the Democratic race for Attorney General.  Miami Beach state senator Dan Gelber was in Tampa last night, informing CL it's a bit of much ado about nothing (according to him).

And CL's Rebecca Wainright was at last night's Charter Review Board meeting in Tampa regarding veto powers for the county mayor position.
