Mosquitoes are pests that we're all too familiar with here in Florida and I'm sure many of us have tried just about everything to keep them away — citronella candles, sprays, coils, etc. But have you ever looked at the long list of chemical ingredients in them? Not the best things to be inhaling.
Here's a great way to keep the mosquitoes at bay without having to inhale the toxic fumes of sprays and coils. Unplggd has created a "hacked" version of a mosquito repellent plug-in that utilizes an orange peel in place of the repellent refill. The oils in the orange peel make a great alternative to chemical repellents (it's also used in many spray solutions) and will make any space smell great. Plus, it can be used inside or outside as no open flame is needed (like citronella candles).
