DIY Green: Recycle a potato chip bag into an eye-catching mini purse

The author states, "It works for any kind of waterproof wrapper - I've even made this as a wristlet pouch with dollar bills instead of packaging."

I found this fun-looking DIY project while searching on Instructables and had to share: Recycle a potato chip bag into an eye-catching mini purse! It's a great way to reuse those single-serving bags that can't be recycled and just end up in the trash. This project is very simple and would also make a great rainy day activity for older kids (with help and supervision from an adult).

All you need is a clean potato chip bag, a zipper, fabric and 2 pieces of vinyl for the lining (easily found at any arts and crafts store) and a sewing machine. The step-by-step picture instructions are listed here on the Instructables site.
