Hillary's big night had its lulls (Nancy "Snooze" Pelosi) and its flashes of defiance from the anti-war (and pro-Jill Stein) contingent, but it ended in Katy Perry, killer speeches (particularly those by Rev. William Barber and the "proud American Muslim" father of a fallen soldier), a confident acceptance speech, and lots and lots of balloons. And oh, yes, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Catch Kate Bradshaw's recap later today, but here are just a few of Joeff Davis's indelible shots of the day and night.
