Tonight, see Love, Sweat and Tears by Complexions Contemporary Ballet, which was founded 15 years ago by two dance demi-gods from the Alvin Ailey company, Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden. The company’s choreography has been celebrated as “amazingly fast-paced and sensual” and criticized for being a little bit “overwrought,” but osbservers seem to agree on the dancers’ physical appeal; as one blogger put it, “every single member of the company is an Adonis.” Thurs.
