Australian pop singer Olivia Newton-John, 60 (pictured), is so wholesome that her 1981 smash, Physical, was considered risqué by her squeaky-clean standards. Quiz: How many of her other No. 1s can you name? OK, Im not going to print this upside down on the bottom of the page. The answers: I Honestly Love You (1974), Have You Ever Been Mellow (75), Youre the One That I Want (78, with John Travolta) and Magic (80). 7:30 p.m., Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater, $39.50-$74.50. When country music started making blockbuster commercial inroads in the late 1980s, Travis Tritt was on the bandwagon with the likes of Randy Travis, The Judds, Clint Black et al. He plays the headlining slot at the Florida Strawberry Festival. Connie Smiths career took off in 1964, concurrent with rocks British Invasion. Shes paired on the early bill with Marty Stuart, who looks like the Liberace of country, but brings plenty of legit twang to his country-meets-gospel sound. Smith and Stuart, 3:30 p.m. ($10 and $15), Tritt 7:30 p.m. ($15 and $20), Florida Strawberry Festival Grounds, Plant City. ES
Ian and Evan Koteles, the main dudes in 10th Concession, stopped by the office to drop off a press kit the other day, and I couldnt help needling them a bit, asking if they were the next Jonas Brothers. They disavowed any such aspiration, although admitted that they wouldnt mind trying on that sort of popularity for size. Im happy to report that the cute guys music, while very guitar-poppy, is not the insipid drek that Jonas spew and that Ian and Evan can really sing. 8 p.m., Skippers Smokehouse, Tampa, $5. ES
