Aestheticized Presents posted a slew of hot new shows to take us through spring. There are plenty to recommend but the one I'm most jazzed about is Dr. Dog (pictured), the Philly soul/pop band that just dropped one of the best CDs of recent months. Unfortunately, Dr. Dog handicapped itself with one of the worst band names of all time. Dr. John ... Dr. Hook ... Dr. Dre ... Dr. Octagon ... Dr. Seuss ... Did we really need another doctor in the house?
