"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" film clip

Like most Dylan songs, his own "Heaven's Door" remains the definitive version, the one that hits hardest and lingers longest. The song originally played in the movie Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, behind a scene where Slim Pickens' character gets shot. This YouTube clip pulls that scene from the film and presents it as sort of an ad hoc music video. Dylan's early work wasn't subject to the MTV video treatment (except for, perhaps, "Subterranean Homesick Blues"), so this 1973 slice of celluloid (which includes Dylan's character as well), paired with a great Dylan tune, is a nice diversion.
