As I write this at 9:15 a.m, it's raining pretty hard in Ybor City and throughout Tampa, not a good sign for the candidates who must get their voters out to the polls today, which would be Bob Buckhorn and Ed Turanchik predominantly.

Is there a more impressive political strategist nationally than Karl Rove? Liberals hate to admit it, but they can't be feeling too good to read this morning how Rove's two groups – American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS – think they can raise over $100 million on their own to help Republicans nationally next year, including whomever takes on Barack Obama.
And a St. Pete Times story over the weekend advanced CL's piece from January on the Florida Legislature's inability to produce a bill on banning texting while driving, despite the fact that many legislators want such a bill.
