Election Day edition: Equality Florida takes issue with Dana Young mailer, DC Democrats already bashing Obama, and John Sugg blasts the Tampa Tribune: Mitch Perry Report 11.2.10

Well, Election Day 2010 is finally here.

Last night, in her second-to-last campaign appearance, Democrat Alex Sink and the rest of the Cabinet candidates came through Ybor City for an extremely brief rally that had a lot of enthusiasm — though in one-on-one conversations, that euphoria was a lot more tempered.

Dana Young and Stacy Frank have been conducting a very tough campaign in HD 57 in the race to succeed term-limited Representative Faye Culp. The gay rights group Equality Florida is taking issue with a provocative Young mailer sent out in recent days to voters in the district.

President Obama will be working with a lot fewer Democrats in Congress in all probability after tonight.  A circular firing squad is already in place, as a Wall Street Journal story reports today.

And former CL and Weekly Planet editor John Sugg weighs in on a recent development involving Steven Emerson, and how it relates to coverage of the Sami Al-Arian saga by the Tampa Tribune.
