Local moms, dads, toddlers and more will support the Black Lives Matter movement by marching through one of Tampa’s priciest neighborhoods this week.

The “Family BLM March” will take place on Davis Islands this Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

It’s unclear exactly who is organizing the event, but according to the Facebook event page, the march will begin at the Channel Drive, and snacks, drinks and balloons and whistles for the kids will be provided.

A similar family-centric BLM march happened on June 26 at Tampa’s downtown Curtis Hixon Park.
