Food, Glorious Food

CULINARY/FUNDRAISER

It's time once again for Best of Tampa Bay, and being that the event is in its 21st year, we should all know what to expect. The venue, as usual, is the lovely Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and adjacent Riverwalk, where mouthwatering samples of entrées, desserts, coffees, wine and beer are up for grabs. For a taste of what's to come, consider this smattering of participating vendors: Saffron's Caribbean, The Melting Pot, Alessi Bakery and Deli, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Columbia Restaurant, Roy's, Oystercatchers, Red Mesa, Tinatapas, Bascom's Chop House, Spain and Lee Roy Selmon's. And that's a seriously abbreviated list. Wear loose clothes and chow down for the good of TBPAC's performances and programs. Sat., March 25, 7 p.m., downtown Tampa, $70 in advance/$80 day of, 813-229-7827 or www.tbpac.org.
