The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce spotlights more than 50 local restaurants, caterers and purveyors of food and beverages during its 18th Annual Taste of Clearwater event this Tuesday evening. Each serves its most popular house specialties, and guests can look forward to tasty Asian dishes by Thai Coconut, a Clearwater favorite; fresh Florida seafood by Oystercatchers, Frenchy's, Joe's Crab Shack, Ward's Seafood and several others; meaty bites from Bascom's Chop House, Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse and Ponte's Tuscan Grill; fine wines and ice cold beer by ZENZEN Wines USA, Great Bay Distributing, and MurielleWinery/Biglin Brothers Distributors; and a variety of other appetizing offerings by places ranging from Tarpon Turtle to the Pierogi Grill Restaurant and the Belleview Biltmore Resort and Spa. Guests also enjoy prize drawings and a silent auction that includes airfare, Tampa Bay Lightning tickets, sports memorabilia, and various other appealing items donated by local businesses. Previous events have drawn upwards of 4,000 attendees; join this year's masses and embark on a tantalizing culinary exploration of Bay area eats.
