Gelber calls on Bondi to explain why she won't be appearing with Sarah Palin this Saturday (video)

Sarah Palin will appear in Orlando this Saturday for a Republican National Committee fund raiser, with RNC Chair Michael Steele also returning back to the Sunshine State.

Although Marco Rubio is feeling confident enough to appear with the Tea Party and Fox News superstar, some other Republicans in tighter races have somehow found other things to do.

Rick Scott will not be in attendance, and neither will Attorney General candidate Pam Bondi.

Her Democratic opponent, Dan Gelber, trailing in the polls, needs to do whatever he can to try to diminish his opponent.  So why not tie Bondi with Palin (he's actually already done that)?

The Gelber camp this morning is calling on Bondi to explain why she won't be in Orlando this Saturday.

Christain Ulvert is Gelber's campaign manager:

“Pam Bondi has been riding first class on the Sarah Palin Tea Party Express throughout this campaign, focusing on issues that have nothing to do with the attorney general’s office, but now she won’t even be seen on stage with Palin. Ms. Bondi should explain to voters why she all of the sudden is avoiding Palin at all costs. Florida voters need an attorney general with common-sense solutions focused on protecting Floridians, not someone who makes decisions based on political calculations and the influence of special interests.”

The Gelber camp helpfully sent out the video of Palin supporting Bondi as well South Florida Republican Congressional candidate Allen West.
