Flamingo Resort in St. Petersburg is celebrating a Country Western Weekend. Tonight, take some line dance lessons from 7 to 9 p.m., and then enjoy the Dolly Parton classic The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, starring Madisyn Michaels, at 11 p.m. And the Florida Gay Rodeo Association will be on site with horses for photo opportunities and horse back riding.
Then tomorrow, Saturday, the Flamingo Royal Players present a City Fair Drag Show at 11 p.m. Sunday's Tea Dance, with DJ Toan spinning on the pool stage, also features a bake sale with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, followed by A Real Ho' Down with Joey Brooks at 5 with pie eating contests, apple bobbing and a mechanical bull.
