Rockers Karmic Tattoo performs this weekend as well. The all-female band is at Hula Bay Club, 5210 W. Tyson Ave. N., Tampa, on Saturday, 1 — 5 p.m. And Sunday, April 7, they head to The Oarhouse Bar, 4807 22nd Ave. S., St. Petersburg, 5 — 8 p.m.


Girl2Girl Productions hosts another great party for women in St. Pete Saturday night. The Women & Wine event will be held at downtown’s A Taste for Wine, 241 Central Ave., starting at 7 p.m. The bar serves wines from all over the world, and also has a great selection of beers, too.


For the outdoorsy types, Outings & Adventures offers a series of fun stand-up paddleboarding lessons and rentals on Sunday on Davis Island at the Seaplane Basin, 1000 Severn Avenue. A Kai (Water) Fitness class, a core conditioning workout on a paddleboard, takes place from 9:30 — 10:30 a.m. Other classes that day: Stand-up Paddleboarding 101, 10:30 — 11:30 a.m.; Stand-up Paddleboarding 10, 11:30 — 12:30 p.m.; and Yoga on the Water, 11:30 a.m. — 12:30 p.m. Rentals are available all day. Head back to the Hideaway on Wednesday, April 10 for its new Anything Goes Open Mic. All types of performing artists are welcome — spoken word, fiction, comedy, song and more. Anything goes!

If you're still looking to make weekend plans, there are plenty of LGBT events in the Tampa Bay area.

On Friday, April 5, head to Bradley’s on 7th, 1510 E. 7th Ave., for the “La Cage Aux Folles” show. Performers include Joey Brooks, Esme Russell and Anjila Cavalier. Then head back to Bradley’s the next night, Saturday, April 6, for its “Saturday Night Review” featuring Brooks, Robyn Demornay and Lady Liemont. Enjoy free entry both nights. Show times are at 11:30 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Ladies might be interested in heading across the bridge to the oldest lesbian bar in the United States, The Hideaway, 8302 4th St. N., St. Petersburg. Songstress Emily Turnage takes the stage at 10 p.m.
