
In his first mainstream media appearance since officially entering the race for president (appearing on Hannity doesn't count) Newt Gingrich tried to sidestep some of his extremely provocative comments about President Obama by admitting that as a candidate, he can longer go into pundit mode and speak in such an undisciplined manner (after being queried about Barack Obama's "Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior").
Speaking on NBC's Meet The Press, Gingrich showed off his new disciplined approach by then criticizing the GOP's favorite new plan of 2011: Paul Ryan's plan to dismantle Medicare as we know it.
