Ellenton Farmers Market- Saturdays; 8 am - 1 pm. Ellenton Farmers Market will be the largest year-round market in florida that specializes in "green" natural, organic and environmentally friendly products that makes for a healthier lifestyle and a better environment. Located just North of the Prime Outlet Mall in Ellenton, Florida (exit 224, Old Exit 43, off I - 75).
North Shore Clearwater Beach Cleanup- Saturday, October 17; 9 am. The SPC Environmental Club and the EGB adopted a mile of beach (Lot 36) on North Shore Clearwater Beach, running from Rockaway St. to 880 Mandalay. We have scheduled our next beach cleanup Saturday, October 17, starting at 9 am. We will be meeting on the beach at Rockaway Street, right in front of Frenchys restaurant. Bags and gloves will be provided, but please remember to wear a hat, sunscreen, closed toed shoes and pants for the dunes, etc. Spend a few hours picking up garbage and the rest relaxing on a clean beach.You can park in the public beach parking or go past Frenchys Rockaway Grill and find residential parking further down the road then just walk back.
