The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners unanimously moved on Wednesday to draft an ordinance that would address the growing use of synthetic drugs such as “K2” and “Spice”, those herbal smoke blends that are often legally and readily sold as an alternative to marijuana.
“This is a grave, grave, grave issue in our community,” said County Commissioner Lesley Miller, District 3.
