Dunedin Fine Art Center rounds up artists from as far away as Australia for its latest exhibition, Home-Grown: DFAC Alumni Return. As you may have presumed from the title, participating artists are all one-time DFAC students who've taken their talents to the next level. Art School participants, recent graduates, an arts educator, a graphic artist and a few who lead double lives (an artist/physician and artist/magician) are all featured in this show meant to emphasize the importance of the center's myriad creative programs. A new generation takes to the walls in a coinciding exhibit, The Kid's Take: Area Students Interpret The Great Human Race, in which local elementary and middle school students offer their own visual interpretations of the David L. Mason Children's Art Museum installation, One Planet/One People, a series of hand-printed color lithographs documenting global customs and cultures. Both shows open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Fri., June 2. Through July 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat., 1-4 p.m. Sun., 1143 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin, free admission, 727-298-3322, www.dfac.org.
