The second album recorded by this trio after a 2005 reunion is superior to its predecessor, even if the classic rock sound hasn't changed much, or at all. The melodies here are bigger, with solid vocal contributions from all three members. Nothing here is going to shock or amaze you, but Dragonfly does what it does well. It's immensely refreshing just to hear a local hard rock band that takes melody into account when it writes songs, rather than just trying to out-scream everybody. 3 stars
