Monday's convention events may have been truncated, but the Tampa Bay Times Forum was buzzing with delegates and reporters. Candy Crowley, host of CNN's State of the Union (airing 9 a.m. and noon), spoke to Creative Loafing from the stands. So what is the story of the convention?

"There's always a story, but do we know what is it yet?" Crowley said. "This is the first of four mega-events. There's the convention and then four debates."

Crowley said the convention will set the tone for the remainder of the election.
