Light jacket season is here, folks.
After record-setting heat in October, a pair of cold fronts is set to finally cool down Tampa Bay starting tonight and into next week.
According to the National Weather Service, we can expect below average temperatures starting tonight, following a few possible afternoon showers. In the Tampa Bay area, expect temps in the mid-to-low 60s tonight, and reach the high-70s on Saturday.
However, just north of us along Florida’s Nature Coast, temps are expected to actually drop to the low 50s.
Things should stay cool though Sunday, as temps in the Tampa Bay area are expected to dip down to 60, with a high of 80.
While it may seem a bit “chilly” here in Florida, at least take solace in the fact that the rest of the country will be experiencing a literal “Arctic Blast,” this weekend.
