Years ago jealousy stemmed from too many stray glances, a simple flirtation with the waitress, or a partner's sudden tendency to keep coming home late. Today things are much more complicated. The internet has opened up a whole new realm of infidelity and jealousy.

I recently received this email on Facebook swirling with jealousy:

"hi, rebecca..women to women…would you mind deleting my ol man, ______ off of your friends list…his mom is on facebook n its n embarrassment and disrespect to not only me but to her as well to see his friendlist with a picture of boobs staring back at us…thank u".
