In an effort to encourage more people to get poked in the arm, First Lady Jill Biden and chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci will be at Amalie Arena tonight for a big Lightning-themed vaccination event.
Together Tampa Bay, which is a partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Vinik Sports Group, will allow guests to get vaccinated, take photos with Lightning mascot ThunderBug and the Zamboni, as well as take shots on net from the ice.
The event runs from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and masks will be required. The Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccinations will be available at no cost through AdventHealth.
You can register here. Walk-ups are also available, depending on availability.
This will be just one of Jill Biden’s vaccination stops today. The First Lady will also stop by a drive-through vaccination site in Kissimmee.
