Not even the most fraught Election Night in history could stop the music at Punky's, where cheers for the karaoke singers were sometimes indistinguishable from cheers for the vote tallies.

Annie Hiotis, COO of the Carlton Fields law firm and past St. Pete Pride Grand Marshal, wanted to make sure we noted that she was wearing a white pantsuit. Her wife, Realtor Connie Lancaster, showed off her Flo-inspired "Sprinkles Are for Winners" t-shirt, designed by local artist Luis Balaguer of triggermouth.com.

Hiotis and Lancaster are both big Hillary supporters.

"It shouldn't be this close," said Lancaster.

Toni Russell, St. Pete property manager and Realtor, stopped by Punky’s before heading to the Ben Diamond party. She had no doubts about the evening's outcome:

"I'm confident it's going to be a landslide" for Hillary, she said.

Meanwhile, singer Erica Zylman was doing a killer rendition of Adele's "Turning Tables." Was she hoping Hillary would turn the tables and become the first woman prez?

Um, no: She didn't vote. She didn't like either candidate, and wasn’t paying much attention to the election returns on Punky's three TVs (Bay News 9, CNN, MSNBC).

"She just came to hang out with her homo friends," said her homo friend Paul Mercer, who was there with his husband (also a killer karaoke singer). Mercer voted for Hillary.

If Trump wins, he said, "It's either Jonestown juice or Canada."
