Karl Simon has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from USF and currently works at a 3D rendering firm for home builders. In his spare time, he has started a home garden to grow his own organic fruits and vegetables, and even has names for all of his plants! He was drawn to write for the Creative Loafing green site in an effort to become more involved in the green movement in Tampa and, hopefully, in his ideal career field of sustainable design and construction.
