Not the Lakeland burglar, but you get the idea.

A Lakeland burglar made off with a generator last weekend, but his process has generated some interest from police and fans of Weird Florida.

WTSP says that surveillance video shows the suspect using a fire extinguisher to break through a wall at a Hyundai dealership at Lake Automall, located at 1430 W. Memorial Blvd., around 9 p.m. on November 18. The cunning gentleman can be seen climbing through his handy hole in the wall, but that's when it starts to go south. Well, his pants do, at least.

The video goes on to show him getting caught on some of the wall, actually losing his shorts (nice skivvies, dude!), falling through the hole and then collecting himself before rounding up the loot.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Scott Hutton at 863-834- 8969, and if you want to try and get a cash reward, then call Heartland Crime Stoppers Florida at 1-800-226-TIPS.

Online snitches (kidding) can log onto www.P3tips.com to submit tips via the web. Check out the video via WTSP.
