Looking for LGBT events this weekend?

On Saturday, June 11, you and your friends can help out at the Pride Beach Clean-up at St. Pete Beach, near the Postcard Inn (and you'll also be able to get a sneak peek at this retro-fabulous hotel).

Ladies, if you like wearing skimpy outfits and knocking people down, then Roller Derby might just be for you. There is a recruitment boot camp on Saturday. This is a great chance to learn some of the basic skills that you'll need to make the team.

That same night, Staying Alive, a '70s-themed dance will benefit AIDS Service Association of Pinellas (ASAP). Over 200 people have already bought tickets, and there is a $50,000 match for ticket sales.

Tampa MCC is having A Night at the Races on Saturday, as well. If you like betting on the ponies, this might be your chance!

If you are looking for karaoke this weekend, on Sunday check out the Chelsea — the Cheers of gay Tampa — on Florida Avenue.

Have you checked out Outings & Adventures recently? They are a group that puts together outstanding get togethers for Gays and Lesbians. Upcoming events include A Night Out, an incredible pole dancing exhibition this Tuesday, June 14.

Looking to learn about Social Media? The Tampa Bay Business Guild is hosting a dinner/training program (sponsored in part by St. Pete Pride) called "Social Network 101", also on Tuesday, June 14. Come out and welcome the returning president Dr. Scott Barry and learn about ways to put social media to good use for your business.

Also on Tuesday, St Pete Pride will present "St. Pete Pride and Friends Turnabout," where board members and friends of the organization will cross dress for cash. Those participating will entertain the crowd with a number and incredibly fabulous outfits, all while reaching for your dollar bills!
