This YouTube entry from an unidentified venue dated "4/7" finds Tennessee roots-rockers Lucero turning in a rousing performance of "I Don't Wanna Be the One." Ben Nichols is in fine voice as he delivers one of his better kiss-offs. Sporting the straggly beard of a road warrior and cut-off sleeves that reveal his ample menagerie of tattoos, the singer/guitarist exudes pure rock 'n' roll charisma. The song is track No. 2 on Lucero's excellent 2006 album, Rebels, Rogues & Sworn Brothers. The Memphis-based band returns to Tampa Bay for a performance at State Theatre in St. Petersburg on Feb. 23.
