American pop artist Peter Max makes another Bay area appearance this weekend with the traveling Pop to Patriotism exhibit at Safety Harbor's Syd Entel Gallery. His latest retrospective consists of more than 100 original paintings, drawings and limited-edition prints, from his more well-known "Cosmic" images to his iconic paintings of the Statue of Liberty and the American flag.
