This Memorial Day Ceremony was held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. as it is every year. Thousands of Americans came to show their respect as well as honor the service and ultimate sacrifice of the brave men and women that rest in this peaceful place. Family members of the fallen come here to be with them on this day, and on other days when the crowd is not here – their grief at the loss of a loved one continues after the ceremony has ended, as does their intense pride. How did you celebrate this holiday? Were the furniture, car, or walmart sales to good to pass up? Did you spend the day at the beach? The Americans that were honored on this, and every Memorial day paid for your right to do as you please on this day off from work or school – even if you choose to ignore them.
