Microblogging gone green: 10 must-see 'green' Tumblr sites

The Mother Nature Network, one of my favorite sites to visit regularly, has picked their top 10 environmental themed Tumblr accounts that you should follow.

In case you're not familiar with Tumblr, it's a microblogging platform containing short-form blogs — publishing well over 2 million posts and seen by hundreds of millions of people every day. MNN's Shea Gunther writes, "Just like the Internet at large, the range of topics found on Tumblr runs the gamut of human interests. It's like the infamous Rule 34 — if it exists, there is porn of it."

The list includes picks like Climate Adaptation, which posts about the changing climate due to global warming through articles and videos from all over the world; In Love With Geosciences covers a huge range of Earth- and space-related studies and often posts some amazing images; and Tree Porn (don't worry, no real porn here) which is "obsessed with finding and sharing the best tree photography on the Web."

Oh, and of course the author's own Tumblr page is on the list, Stuff Shea Likes.

Do you have any green-related Tumblr sites or blogs that are exceptionally informative and/or interesting? Let us know in the comments field below.
