Look, CL knows you know what a lovely place Pinellas County is to visit — not to mention live. So it's kinda no surprise that a portion of its 47-mile-long trail, the one frequented by cyclers, joggers and other outdoorsy folks from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs, just got more accessible to those looking to put down roots in Clearwater.

A new residential project in an established neighborhood, called Stevenson Creek Townhomes, has a microcommunity of seven two-story townhouses planned for a tract of open land along the Pinellas Trail. On bike, the site is 10 minutes away from downtown Clearwater and downtown Dunedin, as well as short walk from a kayak launch that connects to the Intracoastal.

Steven Creek Townhomes is an urban infill development, which essentially means the project will transform land that might've otherwise gone unused within existing infrastructure into a small concentration of abodes. It's also billed as "perfect for active adults."

Certus Living is the development firm behind the townhouses, built with concrete masonry. Priced between $350,000 and $400,000 — with a 20 percent down payment to initiate construction — each residency features a first-floor kitchen and living area, three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and a two-car garage.

Other highlights include pooch-friendly green space, a fire pit and lots of guest parking.

"With Stevenson Creek Townhomes, future residents will have the best of Florida coastal living," said Grant Wood, manager of the development, in a statement. "They'll benefit from contemporary, high-quality construction within the boundaries of an established neighborhood, situated by one of Florida's best outdoor trails and most inviting urban areas."

Next week, the microcommunity's groundbreaking ceremony kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
