Miss Cougar America to be crowned at 2nd National Cougar Convention

The sexual resurrection of middle-aged women is quickly becoming the next big sexual revolution. When Viagra came out, suddenly older men could act on their fantasies. Now, with a rising number of career women who never settled down, new divorcees, or unfaithful wives looking to revamp their sex lives, cougars have begun to repopulate the wilderness of the singles dating scene. This rebirth will only continue to receive new life with the pending release of what is being called, the "pink Viagra" for women.

With this growing movement of older women on the prowl, it's only appropriate that these business-savvy women would organize themselves and elect a reigning cougar queen. To this end, American Cougars of every subspecies are invited

to the 2nd Annual National Cougar Convention in Chicago June 26, 2010, where they will compete for the title of Miss Cougar America.  Chicago Cubs, the young men in attendance, will decide who wins the contest.  The crown will also include a free berth on The International Cougar Cruise. To participate, the cougar need only be a woman, present, legally single, and at least 35-years-old.

This convention is merely one aspect of a growing culture of singles events geared toward cougars.

"Age discrimination is perhaps the most pervasive prejudice in American Society," says Rich Gosse, Keynote Speaker at the Convention. "Older women, in particular, are victimized by our youth-obsessed society. They are regarded as non-sexy... The truth is that there are millions of American men who find older women attractive."

Grosse will kick off the convention with his Keynote Address, "Younger Men/Older Women: The Ideal Combination." He is the author of eight books on finding romance, including You CAN Hurry Love, Singles Guide to America, and A Good Man Is EASY to Find.

A dance party will follow from 9pm-1am, where the cougars will get a chance to put what they learned into motion with the gaggle of Chicago cubs in attendance.
