Welcome back MRP readers. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I did, with the exception of seeing the Oakland Raiders lay a huge egg in Carson Palmer's debut yesterday against Cincinnati. But hey, UF grads were certainly in a tizzy after their boy Tim Tebow rallied the Denver Broncos against Miami yesterday (and apparently now the Broncos have a whole new contingent of fans in the Sunshine State).
Well, the war in Iraq will be over soon for American troops, something that the populations of both Iraq and the U.S. want. Everybody, that is, except for Republican Senators, who are now using the specter of Iran as a reason to keep our troops in the land of one of the country's worst foreign policy experiments, ever.
Herman Cain continue to do well in the polls, and we understand, is picking up in fundraising. And in another indication that he's gaining in popularity, now he's being blasted by some of his fellow GOP candidates for President - not that they don't have a lot of ammunition to use.
And in two weeks from tomorrow, St. Pete voters will vote on city council elections. We checked out the latest debate last Friday
