Welcome to the first working week beginning in the fall of 2011.

Now I'll really get excited about that when it actually starts to feel like fall, which isn't for probably another five weeks or so (hope I'm wrong on that though).

Well, we were in Orlando last Friday for the Florida CPAC event, the big conservative clambake sandwiched in between the Fox News/Google debate and the straw poll that took place on Saturday afternoon, and where Herman Cain shocked the world, or at least some of the Florida GOP establishment, with his upset victory.

Meanwhile, with a slew of conservatives now saying Rick Perry is out of it (prematurely, in our mind), here comes the cry once again for Chris Christie, the Governor of New Jersey for just two years, to now run for president.

And we were bottled at home working for the most part, but we did sneak out for a couple of fun things – such as watching our Oakland Raiders stun the New York Jets – and also to check out Moneyball, the big Hollywood commercial release this weekend. We dug it.
