Mitch Perry Report 9.6.11

As we bemoan the fact that we've been told we can't get in to watch Eric Cantor talk about the economy in a roundtable/fundraising luncheon today at the Palma Ceia Golf Club in South Tampa, we did see that partisan politics are alive and well this morning, as Democratic Party Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to comment on Fox News on Jimmy Hoffa's controversial remarks in Detroit yesterday.

While you were hopefully living it up on Labor Day, we were watching coverage of the GOP candidates forum in South Carolina yesterday, where Mitt Romney showed some of his centrist leanings in the Tea Party backed event hosted by patron saint Jim DeMint.

And we also want to let people in the community - and specifically female veterans - about an event happening this Saturday in Tampa.
