I've been thinking about getting my nipples pierced for quite some time. Now that I'm in my forties I'm ready to finally go through with it.

In the process of researching the piercing, looking at pictures of nipple jewelry, and talking it over with friends, naturally the subject of mommy's nipple piercing came up with my kids. It was inevitable; we all use the same bathroom and we're pretty casual about nudity. My naked tits have been a normal part of my kid's lives since they were breastfeeding infants. At this point it would seem bizarre to them if I suddenly stopped walking around in my underwear. And my children are not the kind of people who would fail to notice new bling on my boobs.

So the subject came up, which I expected, but I was surprised by their reactions. My son (aka aspie boy) didn't bat an eye. He took the idea completely in stride and even expressed boredom about it.

My daughter, on the other hand, flipped out.
