When the suburbanites leave work in Tampa and head east to bedroom communities like Brandon and Riverview, Adamo Drive becomes something of an obstacle course. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriffs’ Office, this intersection consistently ranks No. 1 or No. 2 in the highest amount of traffic accidents each month. And after driving the four-lane county road — which takes in traffic from U.S. 301, the Crosstown Expressway and I-75, along with shoppers from Westfield Mall and Regency Square — it’s easy to see why.
